Mid Sized Mining Pool Hops On Latest Effort To Fork Altcoin Off Of Bitcoin

The relatively new mid-sized mining pool ViaBTC (WOT:nonpeople) recently announced it is mining blocks expressing support for the latest effort to fork an altcoin away from actual Bitcoin. ViaBTC throughout its short history has climbed to represent ~10 percent of the Bitcoin network's hashrate. The only other pool to announce any form of support for this latest social engineering assault on Bitcoin was Roger Ver's (WOT:nonperson) own pool which languishes at ~1 percent of the network's hash rate in spite of paying miners ~6 percent more than they should be making for mining with that pool.

The plainly counter economic activity in support of this latest social engineering attempt suggests that the United States government and its other criminal agents of fiat are still sinking ever more precious resources into their attempts to cripple Bitcoin. The arrogance of this move also suggests Blockstream, the other camp of social engineers seeking to pervert Bitcoin, is likely to begin spearheading a substantial push for something soon.

2013's future of Bitcoin regulation is the present, Republican, reality of Bitcoin regulation. The unforgiving march of time is eroding the few remaining refuges of the delusionist profession which is likely to result in increasingly desperate efforts1 to combat the march of inevitability.

  1. Leading this is the failure of the "Ethereum" gambit where a competitor to Bitcoin was supposed which included numerous features that in reality serve as little more than vectors for attack.

NSA Has A Booz Problem, A Special Roundup Xtend (TM)(R)

This past week an alleged major leaker of NSA secrets has been arrested with terabytes of the stuff in his home and car. Like Edward Snowden, this information hoarder worked for NSA under contract from Booz Allen Hamilton. Rather than exploring alleged events, this Roundup Xtend (TM)(R) will explore the nature of NSA's Booz problem.

  1. NSA failed to admit zher powerlessness over Booz and that zher life had become unmanageable:

As a fiat organization NSA faces many deep structural problems which make zher powerless over Booz. One is that far less people meet the fiat standards of NSA employment than there is makework that NSA has to have done according to standards from fiat. These competing fiat declarations mean people have to be brought in from outside to do all the work. Second the "favor" economy traditional in the fiat system means these competing demands will be sustained in order to create work for Booz as this fatal insanity continues to afflict zher.

  2. NSA failed to believe a higher power could restore zher to sanity:

If NSA were aware of the insanity which followed the effective surrender of zher will and life over to Booz Allen Hamilton, perhaps zhe could begin to have the smallest inkling of faith that a power greater than zherself and Booz just might be able to turn zher onto a path towards sanity.

  3. NSA has yet to turn zher will and life over to God as NSA understands it:

Sitting at the top of the United States' "intelligence" community the NSA played the director in zher own life. As the play went on under NSA's direction zhe became more demanding while still being increasingly gracious in zher relationship with Booz. As NSA continued trying to exercise zher will in this manner zhe suffered ever more Snowden and now suffers Harold T. Martin. As zhe intensifies zher efforts zhe receives only more Booz and more problems.

Through surrendering zher will and life NSA can find a new freedom and a new happiness.

Peace in our time.

No Longer Sterling Pound Plunges 6.1 Percent Over Two Minutes

The British pound, once but no longer sterling, fell 6.1 percent early this morning in Asian trading while the ever more lethargic and obese population of Airstrip One was sleeping. Some recovery in the exchange reported price occurred, but the fundamental value of Britain and its people continues to remain questionable.

Backpage CEO Criminally Arrested On Pimping Allegations

State agents in Texas have arrested Carl Ferrer, CEO of backpage.com in a raid after allegations he might know other people could be using his website to engage in adult and child sex-trafficking. Mr Ferrer was arrested on a warrant out of the state of California at the airport in Houston, and warrants were also issued for the ad site’s controlling shareholders, Michael Lacey and James Larkin. The charges levied against Mr. Ferrer include felony charges of pimping a minor, pimping, and conspiracy to commit pimping, and he faces an extradition hearing before he can be returned to California to face the charges. Mr. Ferrer is facing these charges for running a website, not for actually running girls in the street. Sorry for your laws and your lues.

Not Quite News Roundup Xtend 8

Welcome to the eighth edition of the Qntra Not Quite News Roundup Xtend (TM)(R). The below events are alleged to have happened, but they are decidedly innocent of newsworthiness.

  • The only point of contention from the first United States presidential debate which persisted in mainstream discussion through the end of the week was an accusation that twenty years ago Donald Trump-Clinton fatshamed a beauty contest winner after she rapidly put on weight post contest. The weight gain was in violation of a contract which stipulated that while holding the contest's title the winner must continue to carry the shape of a beauty contest winner.
  • Hillary Rodham-Clinton was discovered to have alleged that many young American leftists were basement dwellers on tape. This follows her putting the few remaining working Americans into a basket labelled deplorables during the weekend her legs buckled at Ground Zero.
  • The developers behind the UnlimitedSpamCoin fork are allegedly distributing "research grants" in order to reward efforts to discover just how much spam they can harbor in the event they manage to fork their desired altcoin off of the Bitcoin blockchain.
  • Chronically troubled transaction intermediary Purse.io released a javascript library purporting to be for use with Bitcoin through deficiencies without possible remedy in javascript developers, runtimes, and the language itself render javascript especially unsuitable for applications touching Bitcoin.
  • An oddly specific prediction alleging a future Bitcoin price in the 800 United States dollar per coin range has been circulating with enthusiasm through certain outlets alleging they report Bitcoin news. As the prices reported on fiat/Bitcoin interfaces are notoriously weak in their relationship to reality it is likely this price will appear on such an interface at some point eventually. It is similarly likely that because numbers are so unfair one of these interfaces will at some point report "magenta" as a price.
  • Silbert and others are dumping capital into an Indian venture dubbed "Unocoin" as self declared "Venture Capitalists" turn their attentions to the birthplace of bureaucracy.
  • The criminal payment of a sex offender for babysitting services by the still more criminal gang in Springfield, Illinois came to public attention after the sex offender kidnapped his 13 year old stepdaughter and her infant son who he may have fathered (archived). He fled to rural West Virginia where he was likely lured by the popular myth that recursive familial relationships were more openly accepted there, but instead he was arrested.
  • Rumours are circulating that Deutsche Bank will soon be saying Auf Wiedersehen to solvency.

Sorry for your loss.

ClassicCoin Supplanted By UnlimitedSpamCoin As Social Engineer's Forking Brand

The social engineering effort to fork an altcoin from the Bitcoin blockchain has changed branding yet again. This time the social engineers are beginning to push the idea of creating an altcoin based on the "Unlimited" Bitcoin network client, which was originally created to follow altcoin forks from the Bitcoin network triggered by other clients. Following the  previous GavInsurrections including the failed XTCoin and underwhelming ClassicCoin coups, this latest rehash of an argument that was a non-starter from the beginning offers even less justification than its predecessors.

This latest adventure has three major public drivers:

  1. Roger Ver1 (WOT:nonperson) is continuing his long march from sanity and notably refuses to surrender his will and life to powers greater than himself, especially Bitcoin.
  2. Roger Ver continues abusing and libelling the name of Bitcoin as part of his personal branding in an effort to wantonly and maliciously confuse the uniformed. His latest transgression is the -EV proposition he dubbed "The Bitcoin.com Mining Pool."
  3. Notorious transmayogendered hamplanet and serial fraudster Marshall Long (WOT:nonperson)has yet to complete his life's mission of eating himself to death.

The actual reference Bitcoin network client remains largely unchanged and though refinements continue network consensus rules are unchanged. Accept no substitute for the real deal.

  1. His recent travels to the United States after an acrimonious public divorce strongly suggests Ver has gone stoolie.

Thermos Becomes Pressurized Container

Bitcointalk admin Thermos (WOT:theymos) continues to feel pressure from disgruntled forum users with a recent post highlighting the frustrations of users who have poured countless Bitcoin into the scam waiting for results. Thermos stated later in the thread that "The forum money I held has largely been spent now", having paid around $100,000 monthly to an unknown friend of a friend of Greg Maxwell to develop the new EpochTalk software. Over $1.2 million USD has been poured into the project which he describes as being "entirely functional" at it's core, though users are still burdened with the original SMF software that is often subjects to bugs, hacks, and denial-of-service attacks. Theymos stated further in the post "There will be a public beta before the end of the month, I think" which likely means a delay of several more months before signature campaign spammers have a new home to post in.

BitXatm Experiences Internal Orifice Exploitation

The sorry for your loss hit Bitcoin ATM provider BitXatm Network this week, with at least 18 of 197 machines being compromised by a disgruntled former employee. Rob Gonzales, CEO of UTXO, on of BitXatm's users, said one of their traders noticed all the Bitcoins on his machines disappeared to an address containing over $100,000 USD worth of Bitcoin. Calls to support offered no assistance. BitXatm CEO Gabriel Prodanescu offered the following statement:

“New generation ATMs, as well as the private clouds (ATMs belonging to clients that choose this service, usually “fleet owners”), were not affected due to additional security layers. Affected ATMs will be operational and secured in the next 24-48 hours. We have already filed an official complaint and a criminal investigation was started by Special Unit of Cyber Crime and Terrorism of Federal Police (DIICOT).

Internal investigations are in progress, we will be transparent and update you every 24 hours. Press release will be posted very soon.”

BitXatm bills their machines as "Plug & Play Hardware and Software that requires no technical knowledge to setup or operate", a business model that is likely to provide lulz for Qntra readers for as long as the company continues to operate.

NJ Hamplanet Chris Christie's Own Lawyer Calls Him A Liar

New Jersey hamplanet and alleged governor Chris Christie's own lawyer asserted his own client was a liar. The trial concerns allegations of wrongdoing connected to a local scandal of trivial importance. Christie is notable for scuttling his own campaign for the United States presidency in order to sabotage his own party's candidates in support of Donald Trump-Clinton's campaign and eating himself into a genderless anatomical state. Sorry for your laws.

Paxful "Executives" Arrested With Oodles Of Drugs

Paxful executives were arrested after Chief Technology Officer Artur Shaback engaged in the practice of "open carry" on the balcony of a private domicile. Police responded to this lawful activity by establishing a perimeter and taking Shaback in to custody along with Paxful Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Azab Yousseff and another yet man, Ivan Suhharev.

Following police violence that allegedly lead to the discovery of drugs the Paxful "executives" were released. The CTO and Suhharev face charges of "improper exhibition" relating to their constitutional open carry in the boundaries of a domicile. The CEO faces charges of hashish and cocaine possession with intent to distribute1 in a clear cut case of "Shrem's Bong" lowering another fringe "emerging technologies" addict into pederasty.

Peace in our time, for as another aspiring businessman once wrote before his life became unmanageable:

Twenty-two, and a veteran of foreign wars, I went home at last. I fancied myself a leader, for had not the men of my battery given me a special token of appreciation? My talent for leadership, I imagined, would place me at the head of vast enterprises which I would manage with the utmost assurance.

  1. "Intent to distribute" in the Usistani vocabulary denotes a quantity of drug material or a manner of packaging drug material, and does not actually depend upon establishing an actual intent to distribute the drug material.
