ViaBTC Hash Power Halves After Joining Roger VERification Effort

Following ViaBTC's announcement that they would be supporting the latest effort to fork an altcoin off of Bitcoin their hashpower has dropped by one half and is likely to drop further. The drop in hash rate appears to be due to miner defections. Since "Bitcoin Unlimited"1 became the favored effort pushed by social engineers like Roger Ver, it has been met with an even colder reception than previous forking efforts including Bitcoin XT and ClassicCoin, with the exception of ViaBTC's warm embrace.

ViaBTC is just the latest in a long line of pools to suffer after choosing their vision for the future poorly. Twenty two months after the publication of "The hard fork missile crisis" every aspiring hard fork away from Bitcoin has managed to defeat itself well before the solutions covered in that piece were required though they still abide.

Sorry fork, your loss!

Mid Sized Mining Pool Hops On Latest Effort To Fork Altcoin Off Of Bitcoin

The relatively new mid-sized mining pool ViaBTC (WOT:nonpeople) recently announced it is mining blocks expressing support for the latest effort to fork an altcoin away from actual Bitcoin. ViaBTC throughout its short history has climbed to represent ~10 percent of the Bitcoin network's hashrate. The only other pool to announce any form of support for this latest social engineering assault on Bitcoin was Roger Ver's (WOT:nonperson) own pool which languishes at ~1 percent of the network's hash rate in spite of paying miners ~6 percent more than they should be making for mining with that pool.

The plainly counter economic activity in support of this latest social engineering attempt suggests that the United States government and its other criminal agents of fiat are still sinking ever more precious resources into their attempts to cripple Bitcoin. The arrogance of this move also suggests Blockstream, the other camp of social engineers seeking to pervert Bitcoin, is likely to begin spearheading a substantial push for something soon.

2013's future of Bitcoin regulation is the present, Republican, reality of Bitcoin regulation. The unforgiving march of time is eroding the few remaining refuges of the delusionist profession which is likely to result in increasingly desperate efforts1 to combat the march of inevitability.

  1. Leading this is the failure of the "Ethereum" gambit where a competitor to Bitcoin was supposed which included numerous features that in reality serve as little more than vectors for attack.

Fractured GOP Experiences Coup Attempt

Various members of the old guard of the GOP, a minor socialist party in the United States, are in the midst of a coup to replace their party's nominee Donald Trump-Clinton with his vice presidential candidate Mike Pence. This coup is receiving substantial assistance from the mainstream media in that country including outlets which function as organs of that country's major socialist party.

Fuelling this coup was a vice presidential debate which was scored as a unanimous victory for Mike Pence, and the coup is substantially assisted by the release of an 11 year old entertainment media interview where Trump-Clinton bragged in a somewhat coarse manner about picking up women. The interview was never previously broadcast, and at the same time the interview leaked excerpts of speeches where Hillary Rodham-Clinton called for open borders and a single hemispheric "free trade zone" were leaked to little fanfare.

America should have voted for America when it still had the chance. Personalities over policies, it's the American way.

Update: The Washington Post's online magazine is already declaring victory in their openly declared war to keep Donald Trump-Clinton from spoiling Hillary Rodham-Clinton's turn in the Ova[sic] Office.

Not Quite News Roundup Xtend 9 (TM)(R)

Welcome to the ninth edition of the Qntra Not Quite News Roundup Xtend (TM)(R). The below events are alleged to have happened, but they are decidedly innocent of newsworthiness.

  • Via Wikileaks and the hacking of a senior aide's email account, substantial excepts from Hillary Rodham-Clinton's private speeches to investment bankers and other senior lizards of the fiat order were leaked.  This release was counter by the mainstream press hammering on an eleven year old "entertainment news" video where Donald Trump-Clinton talked about grabbing women by the pussy and otherwise engaging in Bill Clinton-eque locker room chit chat. Guess which candidate is being pressured by one time supporters to quit the presidential race, the one whose entire public persona is a lie or the one who had a libido a decade ago.
  • The scary clown meme continues as the mainstream press continues inciting hatred and violence against the gentle minority popularly known as juggalos.
  • A second lawsuit emerged this week alleging that Marissa Mayer and other top executives at Yahoo sought to gradual eliminate and marginalize male workers at the firm. At the time of this writing there as been no word on whether a "truth and reconciliation" effort has begun to heal the wounds of Yahoo's gender war.
  • Hurricane Matthew wrecked Florida's shit. Earlier this year Hurricane Hermine was the first Hurricane to make landfall in the state since Hurricane Wilma back in 2005.
  • Germany's Bundesrat has declared war on the internal combustion engine pressuring the European Union to end the registration of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles for road use by 2030.
  • This week's most over hyped altcoin is mimblewimble which purports to be an improvement over Bitcoin by abandoning the reality commonly referred to as "history" entirely. The most discussed was Monero which suffered news following its inclusion in the fourth edition of the Qntra Not Quite News Roundup Xtend (TM)(R) for being overhyped. On the upside for mimblewimble, it is sufficiently removed from value, actual implementation, and deployment to substantially reduce the likelihood of news happening to it any time in the near future.
  • Following the latest hardfork noise heating up the other side of the Hegelian dialectic seeking to kill Bitcoin is drawing attention as Blockstream purports to be closer to deploying Jim Crow for transaction signatures and their "Lightning Network" which depends upon there being a Jim Crow system.
  • Dash, formerly known for its privacy centric marketing as Darkcoin, has been recently trumpeting a partnership for identity verification in conjunction with its fiat interfaces.
  • Cases of syphilis are increasing across the United States with the exception of the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This suggest that the capital region is further ahead of the rest of the United States in its embrace of the new neo Puritan anti-sex agenda.

NSA Has A Booz Problem, A Special Roundup Xtend (TM)(R)

This past week an alleged major leaker of NSA secrets has been arrested with terabytes of the stuff in his home and car. Like Edward Snowden, this information hoarder worked for NSA under contract from Booz Allen Hamilton. Rather than exploring alleged events, this Roundup Xtend (TM)(R) will explore the nature of NSA's Booz problem.

  1. NSA failed to admit zher powerlessness over Booz and that zher life had become unmanageable:

As a fiat organization NSA faces many deep structural problems which make zher powerless over Booz. One is that far less people meet the fiat standards of NSA employment than there is makework that NSA has to have done according to standards from fiat. These competing fiat declarations mean people have to be brought in from outside to do all the work. Second the "favor" economy traditional in the fiat system means these competing demands will be sustained in order to create work for Booz as this fatal insanity continues to afflict zher.

  2. NSA failed to believe a higher power could restore zher to sanity:

If NSA were aware of the insanity which followed the effective surrender of zher will and life over to Booz Allen Hamilton, perhaps zhe could begin to have the smallest inkling of faith that a power greater than zherself and Booz just might be able to turn zher onto a path towards sanity.

  3. NSA has yet to turn zher will and life over to God as NSA understands it:

Sitting at the top of the United States' "intelligence" community the NSA played the director in zher own life. As the play went on under NSA's direction zhe became more demanding while still being increasingly gracious in zher relationship with Booz. As NSA continued trying to exercise zher will in this manner zhe suffered ever more Snowden and now suffers Harold T. Martin. As zhe intensifies zher efforts zhe receives only more Booz and more problems.

Through surrendering zher will and life NSA can find a new freedom and a new happiness.

Peace in our time.

No Longer Sterling Pound Plunges 6.1 Percent Over Two Minutes

The British pound, once but no longer sterling, fell 6.1 percent early this morning in Asian trading while the ever more lethargic and obese population of Airstrip One was sleeping. Some recovery in the exchange reported price occurred, but the fundamental value of Britain and its people continues to remain questionable.

Kim Kardashian Bound, Gagged, and Robbed After Social Media Use

Kim Kardashian was bound, gagged, and robbed during a home invasion of the Parisian hotel apartment she shares with Yeezus (archived). The heist has been described in the populist media as "well planned" an attribute likely assisted by Kardashian's prolific use of social media. Using social media Kardashian uploaded substantial photo and videographic information of the residence that was likely of tremendous value for the home invaders, 10 million1 United States dollars of informational value if the reports circulating in the popular press are to be believed. Sorry for your loss.

Colombian Electorate Votes To Continue War Against FARC

The leftist rebel group FARC and the leftist Colombian government were dealt a serious blow after voters rejected a peace deal at the ballot box. For 52 years FARC has been terrorizing rural Colombia in the name of Marxist Leninism and for the last four of those years alleged Colombian president and noted leftist Juan Manuel Santos Calderon has been negotiating a peace deal centered around "truth and reconciliation" rather than "retributive" justice with the rebels. Apparently "truth and reconciliation is not popular with voters. Peace in our time, ballots in Colombia's.

Not Quite News Roundup Xtend 8

Welcome to the eighth edition of the Qntra Not Quite News Roundup Xtend (TM)(R). The below events are alleged to have happened, but they are decidedly innocent of newsworthiness.

  • The only point of contention from the first United States presidential debate which persisted in mainstream discussion through the end of the week was an accusation that twenty years ago Donald Trump-Clinton fatshamed a beauty contest winner after she rapidly put on weight post contest. The weight gain was in violation of a contract which stipulated that while holding the contest's title the winner must continue to carry the shape of a beauty contest winner.
  • Hillary Rodham-Clinton was discovered to have alleged that many young American leftists were basement dwellers on tape. This follows her putting the few remaining working Americans into a basket labelled deplorables during the weekend her legs buckled at Ground Zero.
  • The developers behind the UnlimitedSpamCoin fork are allegedly distributing "research grants" in order to reward efforts to discover just how much spam they can harbor in the event they manage to fork their desired altcoin off of the Bitcoin blockchain.
  • Chronically troubled transaction intermediary Purse.io released a javascript library purporting to be for use with Bitcoin through deficiencies without possible remedy in javascript developers, runtimes, and the language itself render javascript especially unsuitable for applications touching Bitcoin.
  • An oddly specific prediction alleging a future Bitcoin price in the 800 United States dollar per coin range has been circulating with enthusiasm through certain outlets alleging they report Bitcoin news. As the prices reported on fiat/Bitcoin interfaces are notoriously weak in their relationship to reality it is likely this price will appear on such an interface at some point eventually. It is similarly likely that because numbers are so unfair one of these interfaces will at some point report "magenta" as a price.
  • Silbert and others are dumping capital into an Indian venture dubbed "Unocoin" as self declared "Venture Capitalists" turn their attentions to the birthplace of bureaucracy.
  • The criminal payment of a sex offender for babysitting services by the still more criminal gang in Springfield, Illinois came to public attention after the sex offender kidnapped his 13 year old stepdaughter and her infant son who he may have fathered (archived). He fled to rural West Virginia where he was likely lured by the popular myth that recursive familial relationships were more openly accepted there, but instead he was arrested.
  • Rumours are circulating that Deutsche Bank will soon be saying Auf Wiedersehen to solvency.
