The sea sounds nice and the purge sounds quite refreshing. The closest experience I can compare to what you describe is a 5 day water/coffee/tea only fast I did a couple years ago. Amazing (AMAZING COMPANY!!!) what the body does when deprived from its regular patterns.

It's actually how good whorehouses ("stripclubs", "casinos", whatever) are run. If the whore ain't paying to be there, you're on the sidewalk, not indoors. And if the place isn't teeming with girls ready and eager to pay, you're in the midwestern farmlands, not in a city. Simple enough, really.

Yeah. I'm quite thankful they bargained hard. It both put the right pressure on when I was committed and also made it easier to walk away once it became clear enough to me what the bank was and who they were.

Costa Rican beaches are very calm, there's indeed very little current (except when a rip tide starts sucking, but that's a different story), and the waves are simply delightful. One day jumping some choice, three metre tall beauties, I couldn't get enough air in before the next watery mountain came crashing down. I realised this is happening too late, and moreover it was happening so delightfully (adult males have this pronounced hypoxya-orgasm connection, for obvious reasons) an' gradually I ended up spending way more time in there than I should have.

When I finally staggered back out (on my own power, such as it barely remained) I was cyanotic in the final&definitive degree, "freshly cut spleen" sorta purple, giving poor Hannah a scare for her life (with the added bonus that now she's gonna have to explain to assorted interested parties how it was MP croaked in fine weather at the beach) ; next thing I knew I was punking, pissing and shitting simultaneously, and then by degrees over a few minutes felt much better.

It lingers, by the way, that feeling better -- I feel better now, afterwards, than ever before, like the proceedings somehow enlarged the tank.
